CS Tower Defense ("the app") is developed and published by A Byte of Everything
(com.mani.cstowerdefense). This policy explains what data the app handles and why.
Your campaign progress — levels cleared, stars, credits, unlocked skins and your settings — is stored locally on your device in the app's own storage. It stays there unless you enable Cloud save (Section 2).
You can erase it at any time from Settings → Reset progress in the app. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.
If you sign in with Google in Settings → Cloud save, the app collects and stores:
This data is used solely to back up and restore your progress. It is encrypted in transit, is never sold, never shared with third parties, and is not used for advertising or analytics. Only your signed-in account can read or write your save. Cloud save is entirely optional; the full game works without signing in.
Delete it yourself in the app: Settings → Cloud save → Delete my cloud data. This removes your cloud save and your sign-in from our systems; the progress on your device is kept. Sign out stops syncing without deleting anything. If you no longer have the app, email appsbyabyteofeverything@gmail.com from the Google account you signed in with; deletion is completed within 30 days. Full steps: Delete your account & data. Uninstalling the app deletes all local data.
Apart from Cloud save and Google Play Billing (Section 6), the app makes no network requests. Every level, model and sound ships inside the app, so it plays fully offline. Nothing else in the app connects to the internet.
The app shows no ads and contains no advertising SDK. Nothing about you is collected, shared or used for advertising. (Until October 2026 the app could show an optional rewarded video ad through Google AdMob; that component has been removed.)
Where the app offers in-app purchases (for example, credit packs), they are processed by Google Play Billing. Google handles the payment; the app is told only that a purchase succeeded so the item can be granted. We never see your card details. Google keeps its own record of the transaction under your Google account.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has signed in to Cloud save, contact us and we will delete the data.
Cloud data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Access rules restrict every save to the account that owns it. Without Cloud save, nothing about you is held by us at all.
If the app's data practices change — for instance if analytics were ever added — this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date revised.
